A CSK (Countersunk) Head Self-Tapping Screw is a specialized fastener designed to sit flush with or below the surface of the material it is driven into. These are the workhorses of the cabinetry, DIY, and metalworking worlds.
The Head Shape: The "CSK" stands for Countersunk. The head is shaped like a cone (usually with an 80° to 90° angle), allowing it to sink into the material.
Self-Tapping Threads: Unlike a machine screw that requires a pre-threaded hole (like a nut), these screws cut their own threads as they are driven into softer materials like plastic, wood, or thin-gauge metal.
| Feature | Description |
