Loctite 272 is an ultra-high-strength, high-temperature threadlocker. While Loctite 263 (Red) is the general-purpose permanent choice, 272 is specifically engineered for heavy-duty environments like engines and industrial machinery where heat is extreme.

Temperature Resistance: Up to $+232$ °C ( $450$ °F)—significantly higher than 243/263.

Disassembly: Extremely difficult. Requires localized heating to $+260$ °C and removal with heavy-duty power tools while hot.

How to Verify "100% Original"

Due to the critical nature of high-temperature locking, ensure your 50ml bottle has these authentic Henkel features:

Micro-Engraved Bottle: Authentic bottles have texture-engraved shoulders with the Loctite logo. If the bottle is perfectly smooth plastic, it is likely a fake.
QR Verification: Scan the QR code on the label. Original products link to a Henkel verification portal that confirms the IDH (Item Number, usually 335304 for 272 50ml).
