V-TECH VT-300 PVC Solvent Cement

V-TECH VT-300 is a premium-quality, clear, medium-strength adhesive specifically formulated for bonding PVC and uPVC pipes and fittings. It works by breaking down the top layers of the PVC, allowing the resin to fill gaps and create a chemically welded, waterproof joint.

Directions for Use

Preparation: Ensure mating surfaces are clean, dry, and free of grease, oil, or water.
Roughening: Use medium glass paper or emery cloth to roughen the surface to the full depth of the socket.
Application: Apply a uniform coating of solvent cement to both surfaces with a clean, dry brush.
Assembly: Join the pipes while the cement is still wet and hold firmly for 30 seconds.
Curing: Do not disturb the joint for 15 minutes. Allow 12 hours of drying time before applying working pressure and 24 hours before testing to 1.5 times the working pressure.
