Product Specifications: 16mm Serrated Seals

These seals are a robust solution for securing heavy-duty loads.

Feature Specification / Detail
Clip Width 16 mm (Must match the width of the strapping being used). This is approximately 5/8 inch.
Type Serrated Seal (often Gripper or Hammer Seal). The internal serrated teeth are designed to bite into the surface of the strap (especially suitable for plastic PET/PP or heavy steel) to maximize joint strength and prevent slippage under high tension.
Material Galvanized Steel or Carbon Steel (often V2A stainless steel is mentioned for hammer seals), which offers high break strength and resistance to rust/corrosion.
Strapping Type Primarily designed for use with Polyester (PET) Strapping and Polypropylene (PP) Strapping, which are smooth and require the extra grip provided by the serrations. Some specialized versions also exist for steel strapping (e.g., "Hammer Seals").
