The ALLYSEAL ACETIC SILICONE SEALANT - A&S 2000 ACID is a fast-curing, general-purpose sealant known for its strong adhesion and durability.

The A&S 2000 is a versatile, multi-purpose sealant widely used for:

Glazing: Sealing and bonding glass, double glazing in windows, and window construction.
Aquarium/Glass Work: Repair and construction of glass aquariums (Note: Always ensure the sealant is 100% cured and washed before introducing fish).
Wet Area Sealing: Sealing tiles, ceramics, and bathroom fittings.
Industrial & Automotive: Air conditioning works, refrigeration works, ventilators, bedding of marine hardware, and automotive body works.
General Purpose: Household repairs and sealing joints in construction.

The acid cure formulation makes it best suited for specific materials:

Excellent Adhesion To: Glass, fiberglass, ceramics, aluminium, stainless steel, non-oily woods, and many non-porous materials.
Caution: Due to the release of acetic acid, it is generally not recommended for use on materials like:
- Natural Stone (e.g., marble, limestone) as it can cause staining/etching.
- Porous substrates where the acid can penetrate and cause corrosion (like zinc, copper, or brass, though some sources list it for these metals, it's safer to use neutral cure).
- It cannot be painted over.
