The Ace Brand Hammer Drive Anchor is a fast, easy-to-install masonry fastener designed for light-duty applications in concrete, brick, or block. It consists of a corrosion-resistant Zinc Alloy body and a steel drive nail. When the nail is driven into the anchor body, it expands the base to create a secure, permanent grip.
Brand: Ace Brand
Product Type: Hammer Drive Anchor (also known as a Nail-in Anchor)
Material: Zinc Alloy Body with Steel Nail
Rapid Installation: Designed for "hammer-set" installation, significantly reducing time compared to traditional mechanical anchors that require threading or torquing.
Tamper-Resistant: Once the nail is driven flush with the mushroom head, it is difficult to remove, providing a level of security for the fixture.
Mushroom Head Profile: Features a large, low-profile head that provides a wide bearing surface to hold fixtures securely against the base material.
Durable Construction: The zinc alloy body offers excellent resistance to atmospheric corrosion, making it suitable for various environments.
General Construction: Fixing termite shields, flashing, and brick ties.
Electrical & Plumbing: Securing conduit clips, junction boxes, and pipe brackets.
Interior Finishing: Attaching drywall track, wall furring, and kick plates to concrete floors.
Signage: Mounting light-weight signs or nameplates to masonry walls.
Position Fixture: Place the item to be fastened in the desired location.
Drill: Using a 6mm masonry bit, drill a hole through the fixture and into the base material. The hole size should match the nominal diameter of the anchor (6mm).
Insert: Push the anchor through the fixture and tap the head of the alloy body gently until it sits tightly against the item.
Set: Use a hammer to drive the nail in completely. This expands the split body of the anchor inside the hole for a firm and secure grip.
